We were lucky enough to shoot the new Grappat range stocked by the fabulous BabyDonkie. If you hav’nt heard of this beautiful children’s brand before then you definitely need to check them out. Be warned though, you will probably find yourself wanting allll the things!
Mabel and Vinnie were eager little models. I don’t think they have ever been as happy behind my camera as they were this day lol. Because……TOYS! And not just any kind of toys, they were the really great kind. The kind that offer countless hours of open ended play and the type that inspire the imagination.
They are made from all natural materials and are plastic free (winning)! We talked about colours and shapes, sizes and textures. We made villages and towers and put things in and out. And then we did it all over again, multiple times. Each time was different and thats one of the things I love about this range – theres no rules and the pieces become whatever the children want them to be. If you’re 18 months old like mabel, then you will enjoy throwing them haha.
